MNT, a registered Himalayan trekking and expedition company in Nepal, is solely Nepalese owned and operated, specialized in private and small group guiding, running smoothly since 2013
After working for reputed international and local companies for several years, a thought about self -sustainability and responsibility towards community welfare acts, here, today we are taking a positive and conscious effort in making a mark in Nepalese tourism. We honestly strive to sincere contribution in building nation through internal revenue support. We are a young company trying to make an impact on deserving orphan and needy kids through NGO run charitable institutions and we wish to grow big as a Helping hand to the faltering members of our society.
Our entire team from the management to the ground field staff is a native to the land and culture thus giving greater respect and experience in a truly Nepalese hospitality at its finest.

Karma Tamang
Founder / Trekking Guide
Karma Tamang is the Founder and Operation Director originally born and raised in the foothills of Mt. Kanchenjunga. After his university studies in India he came back to Kathmandu where he discovered his passion and love of climbing and trekking. For over a decade he guided for Nepal’s reputed local as well as international Himalayan guiding companies. Ever since he has been handling numerous trekking and peak climbing trips to Nepal, Bhutan and India.
Lopsang Sherpa
Climbing Instructer / Guide
Lopsang an alpinist, very popular climber in Everest region. Has climbed several peaks and is a passionate Climbing Sherpa who takes care of our peak expeditions to Lobuche,Mera and Island peak. He says, I dream to lead MNT clients to Mt. Amadablam and Everest one day.

Outlines Research and Development (ORD) is our IT partner. ORD provides IT support and maintenance for our website.
Tina
Marketing Manager
Tina completed MBA from UK. She is in charge of overseeing marketing and all internal and external communications for MNT.
Arjun Thapa
Group Leader
Arjun started his career as a trek leader since 2010. His communication skills and emphatic nature has helped him to create an experience for his clients. He was associated with GAP adventures in the past years now he has been leading groups to Nepal treks and Ladhak in India.
Sangay Tamang
Group Leader
Sangay is a Graduate in B.A. His hobby is music. He started his guiding career since 2007. His interest in this field and dedication towards the work has made him a true professional. He has led many treks in Nepal and India. He now holds a position as a transport and field manager at MNT.
Rajesh Tamang
Guide
Rajesh is a young guide ready to learn the leadership skills with lots of enthusiasm and passion. He has a high school graduation with good grades. He started working as a porter and Sherpa assistant now he handles small groups for MNT. We see him as a good future prospect for MNT.
Uttam Magar
Guide
Uttam is a young and active guide who has been working with us for last 3 years. His good sense of humor and proactive nature has won many hearts. He is very liked by most clients he deals with. He also takes care of official business related to getting permits done and is our field staff manager for all western Nepal treks.
Mingmar Tamang
Assistant Guide/ Sherpa
Mingmar is our most trusted Sherpa designated member, very fun loving. He has worked for Peregrene, Australia and Mountain Monarch Adventures for many years. He now takes care of our Everest field staff management and himself works as a senior assistant guide in most of our Everest treks. He is a man of great work ethics and enjoys his job with passion and dedication.
